SRINAGAR: In occupied Kashmir, a complete strike is being observed, today, against the death sentence, awarded to the two Kashmiris by an Indian court in a fake case.
Call for the strike has been given by the APHC Chairman, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and veteran Kashmiri Hurriyet leader, Syed Ali Gilani. All the business centres and shopping malls are closed while the traffic is off the roads.
The occupation authorities have imposed undeclared curfew in several areas of Srinagar and banned people’s movement to prevent anti-India demonstrations. The troops have also cordoned off the exit and entry points of other town s and cities in the occupied territory.
