Death toll revised to 96 in plane crash
A previous list published on the website of the Russian emergency situations ministry included 97 people, but a new list had one person less.
A Russian news agency cited emergency officials as saying that the change came after they discovered one woman scheduled to be on the flight had in fact not boarded the plane.
The ministry said 88 of those aboard were passengers and eight were members of the plane's crew.
Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin announced that the bodies of all of the victims would be flown to Moscow for identification.
However, another Russian news agency reported Sunday that the body of Kaczynski will be transported directly to Warsaw from the site of the crash.
