Pak-US to discuss water, energy, education issues
Pakistan and United States are due to hold strategic dialogue on March 24 in Washington DC, featuring issues pertaining to economic growth in Pakistan, development in education sector, alleviation of water scarcity, development in communication sector, elimination of energy crisis and agriculture.
This was stated by US State Department’s Acting Deputy spokesman Mark C. Toner during a routine media briefing on Wednesday.
He said US desires to further strengthen ties with Pakistan adding that the relations between two allies on terror war are beyond security matters.
We are being assisted by India and Pakistan to wipe out insurgency, he maintained.
Pakistan and US will also discuss Afghanistan issue, he added.
