Tsunami warning after 7.3 quake off Japan
The Meteorological Agency said the quake occurred off the coast of the island of Okinawa at a depth of 6.2 miles at 5.31am Saturday (2031 GMT Friday).
The agency predicted a tsunami up to 3 feet near the Okinawan coast. There were no immediate reports of damage or casualties.
Japan is one of the world's most earthquake-prone countries.
